This is an amazing recipe that is used to boost the immune system and heart health. Be careful, though, if you have blood sugar dysregulation - you may skip honey or significantly decrease how much honey you put into your mixture.

Let's talk about the ingredients.

Dried apricots are rich in minerals, especially this dried fruit, which contains salts of potassium, magnesium, iron, and phosphorus. Such a "set" of useful trace elements allows you to remove harmful substances from the body. Potassium has a beneficial effect on the heart. Also, dried apricots are very useful for poor eyesight and thyroid diseases as they are rich in beta-carotene, which transforms into Vitamin A in the body.
Sucrose, fructose, and glucose included in dried apricots make this dried fruit quite sweet and pleasant in taste, which in some cases allows using dried apricots instead of sugar and sweet dishes.

Raisins are very useful for strengthening the immune system, as they contain antioxidants that increase the body's resistance to adverse environmental factors. Boron found in raisins is very useful for osteoporosis (brittle bones), and vitamins B1, B2, and B5 have a beneficial effect on strengthening the nervous system, which allows you to overcome insomnia, irritability, and headaches.

If you want the energy mix of dried fruits and nuts to turn out not only tasty but also healthy, then I recommend preparing it only from natural, high-quality, environmentally friendly ingredients. They should not be treated with sulfur and be organic.

Walnuts. In terms of nutritional properties, walnuts are 12 times superior to apples, 10 times to cow's milk, and 7 times to potatoes. The priests of Ancient Babylon forbade ordinary mortals to taste nuts since it was believed that these fruits help strengthen mental abilities, and only noble people are allowed to eat them. Walnuts are indispensable in the prevention of atherosclerosis (hardening of the blood vessel walls), the prevention of liver disease, heart disease, and anemia. The nut is especially useful for pregnant women, children, and the elderly. The daily norm is 5-6 walnuts.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 raisins
